It is our bedtime on Monday. Tuesday will be our last full day in Guangzhou. The girls get sworn in tomorrow (the consulate appt went fine today we were told). Then Wed. we pick up their paperwork and head for Hong Kong for our journey home. We can NOT wait to reunite our wonderful family!

Dear Fathman Family --
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know how many people are following your blog and thinking of you.
I was hoping to find an email address to contact you privately, but I don't see one. We adopted our daughter almost 2-1/2 years ago when she was almost 14 years old. I have nothing magical to provide, but perhaps a bit of insight, some suggestions if you'd be interested and am always happy to chat. If you'd like to get in touch, please stop by our blog and on the right hand side there is a link to our email address. You can find us at http://windingvines.blogspot.com
Best Wishes,
Debbi (mom to Sarah, age 16)
YA - what a wonderful feeling to be at this place and oh home and your own bed again :-)
ReplyDeleteHope will come around - once home she will realize she does not have a choice and i am sure will connect with the others and in time with you!! Still praying!

So exciting that you are heading home. Looking forward to hearing how things go as you get home, and the girls begin to settle into your family. There is no magic adjustment upon arriving home....just lots of adjustments that will have to be made...but God is faithful, brought you together, and will bring you through!

Praying for you and your family! Have a happy, safe, speedy and blessed trip home.
